Carefully groping she finds note for note.
No more mighty chords, everything is quite fragile.
An old woman and an old piano, somehow it fits.
And both have seen a lot,
and one of them tells through the other.
And both of them still love each other,
their songs are never forgotten.
And yet, in every single note lies a memory
of a life for everyone else
and a swan that never found peace.
There was way too often little time to pause.
Far too little time for the piano and her songs.
And her husband still listens to her.
Just as he did back then. He sits next to her,
even though only she can still see him.
He smiles at her just as he did back then.
And she tells their story with very few notes.
